# Link Shortening

In this article you will learn how to shorten any link with EZBiolink.

1. Go to your [**Dashboard**](https://ezbiolink.com/dashboard)
2. Click on the name of your existing project or **Create** a new **project**
3. Inside the project, click on **Create Link**
4. Select **Shortened URL**
5. Inside the popup box, paste the **Long URL** you've got from the internet and create a **Custom Alias**. The **Custom Alias** could be anything you'd like. Note that you can't hange the first portion (<https://ezbiolink.com/>), however anything that follows can be customized by you.
